Today was a beautiful day and I was determined to get out in the yard. I hired the boys to help start clearing the ivy in the back yard. This is no small feat. They worked for almost 4 hours with me. Finally we were just too pooped to pull anything else out of the ground. The pictures show how much they actually got accomplished. It was a gorgeous day. Mike is taking the last load of yard waste to the compost park as we speak (8:49pm).

wow, that was alot of work! i simply can't stand ivy. we had it at the old house and it would just take over everything no matter how much we pulled it out. it ate the peach tree, it ate the stone/cement wall...it ate everything.
